I'm Peace Melodi, a Backend Software Engineer focused on building secure, scalable and well architected server side systems. I engineer backend solutions that are deliberate, production grade and built to endure.
My journey started in NestJS and Node.js, and has grown into a deep focus on Go I care about concurrency done right, transaction safe money and matching logic, and systems that stay correct under load. My stack of choice now is Go, PostgreSQL, and WebSockets for anything that needs to move or settle in real time.
I believe great software is built on clean code, good architecture, and a deep understanding of how things work under the hood.
A real time delivery dispatch system built in Golang. Orders are matched to the nearest available rider using Haversine distance, wrapped in row locked transactions to prevent double assignment. Live rider locations and order updates stream over WebSockets, with a background worker retrying pending orders until riders become available.
A financial banking savings system written in Go, inspired by Nigerian Ajo and Esusu traditions. It runs rotating savings groups end to end, collecting contributions each cycle, releasing the pot to one member on a fixed schedule, and tracking defaults as deficits that must clear before the group advances.
A Go backend for POS agent cash reconciliation. It tracks each agent's float and physical cash, moves them in opposite directions inside a single atomic write per transaction, and lets the agent submit a daily cash count so shortfalls or surpluses are flagged with exact numbers. Every action is logged.
